Francis(FRANKIE)'s Story
Hi all the summer of 2012 is pretty much history at this point. The animal crew has grown to include Serama Chickens the smallest chickens in the world a full grown hen will weigh in at 14 oz the roosters are 16 oz and many are smaller. I bought an incubator and have hatched a few babies I have 2 that hatched out 3 days ago. Cute little things. Their mom went broody and is on 11 eggs it takes 5 Serama eggs to make 1 regular egg so you need almost 2 weeks production for a breakfast. I bought 3 Showgirl chickens and they turned out to be 2 roosters and 1 hen the hen went broody on 7 eggs and now has 5 chicks. A showgirl is the cross between a Naked Neck and a silky so you get a naked neck with a fluffy head and body. they are cute but the rooster is not friendly always pecking at me. My flock of Seramas is now up to 14 so I am happy working with my animals. Life is good and so is my health. I hope all who read this are in good health and please drop me a line I always answer back. Thanks for all the profile visits. FRANKIE

Lil Baby Shoak(Shoak means Shark in Aztec he is also a therapy dog and goes to visit patients in hospitals) and they produced Sunburst1 Brown Theodore call name is Teddy. I have been busy pouring and firing ceramics and porcelain I have a seminar planned in the near future to have a group make a ceramic wolf and another to make a Candy doll container a replica of one made in the late 1890's I hope all of you are doing well

I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right to a point I worked for 10 years with handicapped children and adults for the State of Arizona as a certified Life Trainer. .
My life travel took me to Cody,Wyoming where I stayed and lived for 10 years. I left AZ in 1976 after 1 1/2 years at Eastern ARizona College in Thatcher ARizona. I moved to Tucson in 1986 and I have been here ever since.
The fall breeding season for my birds has started. The cockatiels and English budgies are busy on eggs and raising babies. This will keep me busy for a few months. There are 3 new pups that are a month old here now. Mom Mimzi had her litter.
I won the award of Volunteer of the year from the Pima County Tucson Arts Council. I won for volunteering at Sahuarita Anza Trail as an art instructor for the last 20 years. It was a fabulous achievement for myself. I generally enter the kids projects in the Pima County Fair every year and have won Best In Class many time. Every one of the kids is special to me. I teach from Gifted children to children with disabilities its fun and trying
