Frank's Story

Life Hello everyone, here is what I have been up to for the past several years. After school I spent several years in the military and traveled the world from southeast Asia to Europe and everywhere in between. After the army I returned to Santa Cruz and worked with my adopted brother (Rich Hope) at Lipton Tea Co., could not handle S.C. and moved to Reno where I spent 10 yrs driving for the Teamsters Union. I left Reno in 84 and moved to Merced and continued to drive truck. In 1988 I met my wife (Cathi) and we married in 89. We live in Catheys Valley in Mariposa County where she is the Agricultural Commissioner. In 2001 I left the trucking industry and went into real estate where I have been ever since. I have owned my own office and presently am with Century 21 M&M Assoc. in Merced. We live on a 40 acre ranch and enjoy traveling in our 5th wheel. I also like to hunt, fish and do home improvement projects. We have two rentals in C.V. which keep me very busy. I still love fast cars and presently have an 05 Mustang GT, will post pix. We have one daughter, Tanya, who is presently working towards her Masters in Anthropology and has been accepted at the University at Oxford in the UK. I guess she is trying to keep up with her mother who holds a BS in Agricultural Economics from UC Davis and a Masters in International Agricultural Development/Ag Economics from the University of Hawaii. Myself, well let's see, I have a degree from the school of hard knocks but, what I consider one of the best educations a person can have were the 12 yrs in the US Army as a SSgt. in the Infantry. d another eight yrs in the reserves. I did attend Cabrillo College for a semester and studied Police Science as I thought I would follow my fathers footsteps and be a cop. Remember my dad, that big guy that rode around on the Harley and never wrote tickets to my buddies? I soon discovered that Teamsters made way more money back then and you did not have to get shot at. I still keep in touch with a few friends from school and one in particular. Chuck Parham and I have been best of friends forever and our families get together often as Cathi & I travel to SC often and Chuck & Al visit us in Catheys Valley. Chuck and I are always on the phone talking sports and cars and stuff. Well, I guess that's about it for me, oh, one more thing. I can't forget our other family members, Buster & Artemus. Buster is a three yr old Boston Terrier and Arte is a two yr old French Bulldog. They are like kids and keep us on the go constantly as they are both full of p#^& and vinegar. We also have lot's of cats, (to keep the rattlers away from the house) horses, sometimes sheep, cows and who knows what else, you can get lost on forty acres. Well it's almost Christmas and I am busy putting up our light display, I don't think I will get them all up this year as I have been very busy with the real estate business, maybe only 15 or 20 thousand this year. If you should ever get up here to CV at night just look for the big bright spot on the side of the mountain, that will be the Boze residence. Enjoy and may everyone have a blessed and wonderful holiday season. Merry Christmas from Frank(Mitch), Cathi, Tanya, Buster & Artemus Boze.
