Frank's Story
Hello there everyone. I want to say thank you for visiting my profile. I'm also really disappointed that I missed our 50TH reunion. I was on the east coast meeting new family members and just couldn't get here in time. Certainly my loss but maybe the future offers new opportunities. I am just astonished how interesting it is to read our profiles and see how diverse a group we have been over the last 5 decades.
I won't spend a great deal of time regarding my path but I have had such a full life much like each of you. I am lucky. I have a great family and I'm really proud of those big and tall and that one young lady whom is still young and small. I just love being a grand dad and of course a DAD. I'm truly blessed in family and I do share and boast about each of them. I'm sure we're all equally proud in that regard.
Career? I spent over 35 years carving our a career in the Gaming & Hospitality sector. ily to travel some and experience that world to some degree. One period of my career was that of trying to fill the shoes of MOM. WOW!!!! Major changes from a traditional role working with; [ahhhhh] Adults. Early on I thought "I got this". " Holy tacos!" Taking care of 6 (yes 6) kids and being responsible for wake up, get dressed (please), eat breakfast (don't take it into the suv and trash my beloved truck), pack you all off to school on time (3 different locations), and then experience the grab bag of daily issues that confront that parent with change and adaptation... including getting to and from work ON TIME. Simply stated... I lasted 13 months and I groveled including; begging to go back . Mom..... thank you for being compassionate, keen, clever and cunning. I was clearly over matched by those little people. But; I would not trade that time and period of parenthood for anything. Dad and Uncle Frank did get by.
I have recently retired but endeavor to stay connected to my life long professional via coaching and possibly teaching.
I want to thank you for stopping by and hope somehow, someday and someway we cross paths again. Frank
