Living in Las Vegas, really do miss La Puente. I was going through these yearbooks and it's funny to see me with long hair, I must admit I look good! Loved the 60s and 70s growing up on the corner of Main Street and Stimson Ave.. I little sad when I see the 1976 yearbook and all the Seniors who graduated. Now I see them, the kids I grew up with and attended school with, kind of makes me proud of my friends. Anyhow, I have been a writer ever since High School, but became a professional writer in 2001 when I moved to Las Vegas I wrote a column in a magazine for 10 years and now I write both children's books and fictional books. I have a book about growing up in La Puente, entitled, The Bridge and The Palm which is still rough and I don't have time to finish that because I'm knee deep in a trilogy folklore book right now. Update: The Town I lived in, is the new title and will be filled with humorous illustrations, photos and stories. I sent out feelers and the response hasn't been too positive.
