Frank's Story
Life
I moved away from Youngstown after completing my sophomore year at Fitch. I started my junior year at Warren Central in Bowling Green, Kentucky. After graduating from Warren Central I went to GMI while working at the Corvette Plant. I graduated from GMI with a BSEE in 1988. After graduating from GMI, I started working for GM (as a design engineer) and attended the University of Michigan while working. During this time, I bought my first house and met my future wife, Jacqueline Trombly (she is also an engineer). I graduated from U of M with a MSEE in 1991. On valentines day, 1992, I proposed to Jacqueline on the farm she grew up on. We were married on July 18th, 1992. Soon thereafter, I was licensed as a Professional Engineer (and just for fun as a Residential Builder). I then quit GM and took a job with Ford (...Expand for more
as a systems engineer). While working for Ford, I began attending the Wayne State University Law School. During this time, my daughter, Alexandra, was born (03/28/94), Jacqueline and I built a house on her family farm, and my son, Franklin, was born (04/23/97). In 1998 I took the Patent Bar and became a patent agent. I graduated from WSU with a JD in 1998. I also took the Michigan Bar and became a lawyer. In 1998, I quit Ford and became associated with Artz & Artz as a Patent Attorney, where I am still working today. In 2000, I was lucky enough to qualify to fence in the U.S. Olympic Trials for Foil, where I ended up placing 35th (not bad for an old man). I'm still fencing, when I'm not working on the farm or going to ballet with Jacqueline and Alexandra. IÂll try to keep updating this as new things occur in my life.
