Frank's Story
For all my fellow classmates who are thinking; "who the hell is this guy; his picture is not in the yearbook? Here is my explanation:
I was such a screw-up in the 11th grade that I spent 12th in a "junior/senior" status. I skipped school in the 11th grade more than 50% of the school days and was one on Mr. Donald “Ronald” MacDonald's "favorite" delinquents. By the end of the 11th grade, I had only managed to accumulate 30 of the 60 points needed to graduate.
I needed to make them all up in my senior year. Although it was possible, I had to pass 5 major classes, gym, band and some silly art class. Since I was such a total "butt-hole" and a major aggravation to all my teachers who all knew I needed every point, they made my life miserable by demanding that I act like a civilized human being. d I would be back in high school again in '65, perish the thought.
Although pushing the envelope to its capacity many times, I toed the mark, passed everything and actually graduated. You will find my name in the back of the Yearbook. Why my picture isn't there, I'll tell you in person at the reunion if you don't already know. My bride of 53 years, who came to the prom with me at the Staler Hilton and is still as sweet and gorgeous as she was then, and I are hoping to attend the 55th reunion in September. I look forward to seeing many old friends at that time.
Since I assume most of you are retired. I wrote the book for the fun of it. I didn't do it to make a living, thank God. (lol)
