I'm a professional troublemaker with a law degree (and another in biochemistry) who has run away from the world and sought refuge amongst the piney woods of East Texas.
Here I sit, surrounded by kittens and bedeviled by a dog of indeterminate heritage, issuing diatribes concerning the foolishness of the present day and offering unheeded advice to all and sundry.
I believe in a pragmatic approach to all economic and social issues which means I tend to disparage both Republicans and Democrats, liberals and conservatives, with equal vigor and, in return, receive the enmity of all. About this enmity I give not a damn.
When I venture forth from my rural estate it is usually to head to Paris, my favorite city anywhere, where I drink a lot of wine, sing jazz in smokey bars, and pretend it is 1932.".
