Frank's Story
Update 6 August 2016
Well not much has changed since my 2013 update except I have gotten older, fatter, and grayer. I intend on adding more photos soon. Right now I do plan on attending the July 2017 reunion for our 50th.
Life
Update: 1 June 2013 - I am retired and live in Chesapeake, Virginia. If you find yourself in my neighborhood give me a call. I am in the phonebook and come on out for a cold one. I have a pretty neat mancave out on my deck where we often smoke meats and BBQ and sit in front of my hugh stone fireplace and drink rum and cokes, smoke Cuban cigars and tell tall stories of times past. I am a plank owner of SEAL Team Six as are many of my retired buddies so we have many stories to share. (We formed up in 1980) I am a lifetime member of the UDT-SEAL Association and and sit on the board of directors for the Association.
After graduating I joined the Navy and went through UDT/SEAL training in 1970. I served in East Coast SEAL teams with stints in Panama and El Salvador as one of the 55 Naval Advisors until I retired with 30 years in 1998. I served as a Command Master Chief (E-9)at Navel Special Warfare commands for my last ten years...Expand for more
. I am currently a Test Engineer for United States Special Operations Command in Tampa. When not on the road I work out of my house in Chesapeake Virginia. I have been married to my wife Shirley for 36 years and we have 3 children and 2 grandsons. I have AA BS degrees and didn't quite finish my MPA from OU. Maybe when I retire from my present job I'll finish my Masters just to say I did. I am interested in attending our 40th class reunion next year so if anyone has information please send me an email.
I have a great collection of pre-columbian pottery and relics, old Spanish COBs and coins. I was an avid treasure hunter in my spare time. For the last few years I havn't been abel to hunt but I am about to change that situation and start hunting again. I have two brand new metal dectors that need broken in.
For the past 6 weeks I was with my wife in the hospital as she fought an advanced cancer. It was not discovered until it was a stage four. She was not able to handle the chemotheoraphy and she passed away on the 30th of April 2007. I was at her side when she passed. She was a native of Richmond, VA where I buried her on my birthday, 4 May.
