Frank's Story

You may remember me as one of the tuba players in the band, or the tackling dummy on the JV football squad. I moved to San Francisco in 1970 and worked in the Recreation and Parks Dept. for 22 years. I took an early retirement in 2007. I am in Asheville, North Carolina now. It is a lovely area, in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I enjoy driving around the east coast and spending time in Europe. I remodeled a 1950s house and do a little woodworking in the basement. I hoard old books and obsolete wood working tools.I guess I am a part...Expand for more
time troll and part time vagabond. No grandkids , or kids, for that matter. Which is too bad. Still wish I was just a little smarter. A couple of years ago I visited my sister in Huntington Beach and spent a day seeing the sights around Compton. It was a gas. LA was a great place to grow up, back in the day. We were the Pepsi Generation, and pretty much had things our own way. We got to check out a lot of cool stuff.. Here is hoping you are all in the best of health and spirits. It has been a fun ride, with many fond memories.
