Beverly's Story
Life is GOOD at the Frazier house!
Moved from KY to GA, then from southern GA to WI w/Bill's job. He has moved to the corporate office at Jockey Intl. We now live just N of Chicago on the IL/WI border. He travels w/his job, mostly internationally. Bryanna & I have to learned to use the snow blower quite often! I certainly miss the sunshine and our great pool in Statesboro, GA.
I have degrees in Engineer ing. I am a Dean - Engineering, Math, Phyiscal Science for an Illinois college. I love academics and enjoy working with students and hanging out with my colleagues. I continue to teach Engr on a P/T basis.
UPDATE on our Daughters:
Bethany (41now/eldest)is a Nurse at a NKy hospital in cardiology. Married to Gary Mitchell who has his own business as a VP in Finance Stanley James. We have 3 beautiful granchildren: sweet, athletic son in the Navy - Oklahoma based, Mr Mack (20 yrs), lovely, smart and ambitious Ms Alexandra (15 yrs), + beautiful, adorable drama queen who is politically savvy - Ms Sophia (14 yrs). They reside in Erlanger, KY with pet cats, Roma and Moose.
Britni Jo (30 yrs/middle daughter) has a BS in IT/Bus Mgt. Married to US Army Capt Mike Douglas. They reside in Maryland. Married 8 yrs no children yet. Have 2 sweet grandpups: Juno & Athena (female/brown boxers). We adore them. Both are so comical and love us dearly.
Bryanna "Maxine" (18 yrs/youngest) just graduated HS. Beautiful and smart (honor student/little socialite). Loves hanging with her friends, music & photography, playing. Quite versatile, very bright (too much soooo) and extremely flexible in all she does. She's quite amazing actually. Not sure what she wants to be when she grows up but says she wants to go back to the south to GA ...Expand for more
and maybe be a vet or a forensic expert. With an RN, an IT Specialist and a Vet or CSI, I believe we could start a good business somewhere in GA or SC! :-) I can't wait until retirement and moving back south with all our girls around us. Three GIRLS is a plenty! Had NO Boys.
We have two pet dogs and a handsome lizard: Bandit (6 yr/Chihuahua) & Betsy (7 yr/Jack Russell Terrier), Spike (orange/bearded-dragon lizard). Good watchdogs but spurnickity & spoiled. They hate their doggie nieces who are too active for them. They like to lay around doing nothing. Spike, lizard guy - finds the dogs interesting but not his favorite companions. Luckily Spike has his own space and likes it like that or likes being on his mommy B's arm.
Yes, I confess -- I am fortunate as my LIFE is very good. I am SOooo Blessed with my family and life. Thank you dear Lord for the best 30+ yrs of my life. "I am so thankful that you sent me the wonderful, handsome Bill Frazier, my beautiful daughters, grandkids and and adorable pets and grandpets." Never a boring life/truly blessed.
To Relax: I love to listen to soft music, whether it be country, classical or pop and read a good book, have a glass of Syrah red wine, and sit in a lounge chair (prefer in the sun), but ok in a recliner during the winter months.
What did I want to do when I grew up: I always wanted to be a journalist when I grew up and write a book, which I may still do someday. I could tell some very good stories of my life! My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea and as it turns out, they were probably right. I'm quite happy with who and what I am now.
GOD BLESS EVERYONE THIS 2010..... Remember - Live, Laugh and LOVE as Life is good. You just have to let it happen.
