Fred's Story
After graduating from Western, I attended Cypress College until joining the Air Force in 1969. I spent a year in Tachikawa, Japan then went on to Airborne School at Ft. Benning, Georgia, after earning my paratrooper wings, ti was off to Vietnam. I spent a little over a year in Quang Tri, Vietnam as a Forward Air Controler and then got out of the service in 1973.
I married a girl from Tampa, Florida, had two beautiful girls, but unfortunately our marriage ended in a divorce. I remarried and have been married now for 32 years with three children from our marrage, two girls and one boy, all are g...Expand for more

I worked in the oil industry for over 30 years,retiring in 2006 and continue to do consulting work in Houston, Texas. I live in a small town called Wimberely, about half way between Austin and San Antonio. It's a beautiful area in the Texas Hill Country. It's a small town, 5,000 population and I have a small spread of 11 acres that keep me busy when I'm home.
I spend my spare time bass fishing, playing with my grandchildren and working on my ranch. I have a great wife and a wonderful family and consider myself truly blessed.
