THANKS to all of you. I would love to write or talk to ayone around at that time. I have been living in the mountains of Colorado, and sometimes on the beachs of Mexico. Let's Talk. and rcieved multiple Purple Hearts) My outfit was 2nd Bat., 5th mar. Regiment. This is a source of great pride for me as 2/5 is one of the most famous and honored units in the history of the USMC. I was shot for the last time in the Tet offesive at the Battle of hue City on Feb. 13th '68 and finaly sent home to recuperate at the Chelse Naval hospital in Boston. I was given a medical discharge in 9/68 and I am still on a Veterans Pension for wounds recieved. I am extremely proud to have been given the oppurnity to serve the greatest Country in the world and I still stay very active with various groups of veterans, like the 430 we just had skiing for a week in Aspen, Colo. Veteans are GREAT people, next time you see one tell them, Thanks. More later to anyone that wants. thanks Fred
