Fred's Story

Graduated from SJ State but took me 7 years after graduating high school. Lack of money and draft set me back but the experience of working and military requirements had a positive impact. Got a job with Johnson and Johnson before graduating, found a lovely wife, and found a job in the Semiconductor industry. A great ride with a new but dynamic industry. ts guy but hard work paid off with plant manager jobs in Asia. McClatchy was a hard place for a plough boy from a small town in the Midwest. Very upscale and sophisticated for a transfer kid. Met some great folks who befriended me and helped take some of my hickstom off. Currently retired in Scotts Valley near Santa Cruz. Life is good and have to give some kudos to McClatchy.
