Freddie's Story

I would just like to share some of my accomplishments in my life. After graduating from High School, I joined the Army for six years, went to Viet Nam, returned home and received a honorable discharge and went back to school. I attended Laney College and then Fresno State University. After several years of college I got married and 3 children came from that marriage. I re-married in 2001 to a wonderful woman from Indianapolis, Indianda. From there I decided to join the Marine Corp. . I then worked ten years with the Fresno County Sheriff's Department; was injuried and retired medically in 1987. I started working with the Fresno County Probation Department in 1994 to present. I am presently a Senior Correctional Officer responsible for a 30 bed pod. I have been voted employee of the year and have received several resolutions from the Board of Supervisors of Fresno County and the Board of Education. I am also an ordained minister preaching and teaching God's word. I am now very close to joining the ranks of those in retirement.
