Frederick's Story
After High School I joined the Army and did 3 years service, 1 in the States and 2 in Germany. I came back to the states and went to Kent State University.for 2 years. later I continued my studies in Berlin/Germany, came back to Cleveland (1983/4) with my masters in Architecture and no job in sight, I marred my German partner and moved to NYC, There I worked for AT&T and a privat owned Black Architectural firm., A short time I moved back to Berlin/Germany and became the father of Mack McKelton,.
1987 my partner Dagmar, Mack and I moved to Francistown/Botswana, where I worked as the Council Architect and our daughter Chanana was born.
1992-1996 the family lived a happy life in Yaounde/Cameroon, where I did some free lance work (I even taught English, hi hi hi, and enjoyed many gigs playing sax in some lokal bands).

or 'our brothers and sisters' within a NGO. Time there wasn't as thrilling as we hoped. My wife accused me of putting her in a golden cage. -
so back to Berlin, Germany. Since the Millienium - where Dagmar had a job waiting - I was self-employed with some small and bigger projects, I took a friend advice and looked at the American Embassy employment opportunities and found a job. I was so lucky to get a new employment with 57 years I spent the last 6 years of my working time with the American Embassy. Now it's the golden years with no finical problems and time to travel. We bought a house in southern France where we spend about 5 months in the year. The French food and wine add to the enjoyment of our golden years. I am also now a grandfather of 2 grandsons, and another grandchild on the way. A really happy life. I am just trying to stay healthy, everything else that one needs you can beg, barrow, still loan or buy.
