Frederick's Story
Life
Went to SAC for 2 years and deceided to get a real education at the U of Houston. Graduated from their Optometry College in '76. Had Air Force Scholarship so 1st assignment was Big Springs, Tex - Had no idea West Texas was that big. Traveled Europe and California with the Air Force for next 25 years. Retired x 4 years from the AF and now gainfully employed with the VA Medical Center here in Sacramento, Ca. Glad I learned German...Expand for more
while stationed in Frankfurt - much easier to understand our governator here. Married to a Wisconsinite - Katie for 26 yrs now. She was teaching college but found it hard to do that moving so much with the AF. She now works in the travel industry organizing + leading tours to Europe. Still get back to UC to see my family a couple times a year - sorry I missed the reunion - but will definitely make the next one. All for now
