After graduation, I spent time at UC Berkeley. When money ran out, I worked 18 months at a burger joint, then 18 months at a blueprint company where I met my wife. While at UCLA, I went to work at IBM. I transferred to Maryland, then to Austin. I retired from IBM at the a...Expand for more
ge of 50. Divorced, I live alone on 2.4 acres in a gated neighborhood, though my daughter lives nearby, as does my ex. During my HS years, I lived in a tiny trailer. The luck of finding that IBM job posting at UCLA's employment center took me and my family out of poverty.
