This site is wonderful. I have reconnected with lots of people from school, thanks to Classmates..they found me.......................... My life in a nut shell......... I have recently retired from teaching the Administrative, Medical Assisting Program at Orange Coast College. I currently run my own, Medical Practice Management Consulting company, by the name of Diversified Medical Management Services. (DMMS) I have two wonderful children, a son and a daughter and they are both wonderful people. My beautiful daughter is a pilot and flies for a commercial airline and has one daughter, Aubrie. My son has a beautiful little girl who will soon be 12 years old and he and his wife are expecting another daughter in Oct. 2018. My grandchildren are the lights of my life. My son also deals in commercial real estate, buying and selling, and property management along with investments. I pride myself in being a really good mother...always have been. I love my children and have always treated them with love and respect, remembering that children are people too. I have a fabulous relationship with my kids and their spouses and feel extremely lucky having children that always want me around and when I am not with them, they call, text or email me almost every day. Most of my friends in school and even some of my teachers (Mr. Workman, Mrs Johnson, Mrs. Butterfield) probably remember that I dropped out of Dominguez High before graduating. I got a job working at Sav-On Drug stores, then I went to work for Thrifty Drugs, where I met a really nice man and got married. Shortly after getting married, I went back to high school at night (Montebello High) and got my diploma. I started my family and stayed home with my children until they started school. Then, I attended school to train as a medical assistant, both clinical and administrative. I started working in the medical field, managing offices in 1977 but settled into a Urology practice in 1981 ...Expand for more
