Joanne's Story
Life
I work in Graphic Design as an Executive Assistant/Production Manager and also hold a second job as an Advertising Director of a wonderful Metro Detroit feature magazine called Your Community Voice - a Times-Herald publication. I have 2 beautiful kids named Rachel and Michael and our 4 cats. I was married soon after I graduated and it lasted over 10 years, however, I am divorced at this time. I haven't moved out of Michigan and I don't plan to. You know, sometimes, it feels like it was just yesterday that I saw all of you and graduated. I have wonderful memories of everyone and I'm glad to have shared part of my life with all of you. Memories have been etched in my mind and throughout the years, in good times and in bad...I've looked back to those memories and they made me smile. Mrs. Marsha Miller---if you are out there somewhere in this world---I want to tell you that you made a wonderful impact on my life and have helped me to become the well-rounded, well-centered person that I am today. Thank you.

School
It's always funny to look back and remember things like who your favorite teacher or favorite crush was. Favorite teacher was hands down, Marsha Miller. She gave so much to me on an emotional level and helped me during a difficult period of my life. Favorite crush....hmmmm....don't want to get any of you (now)married men in trouble with this, but for 3 years straight, I really really liked Ken Kettenbeil. In tenth grade I remember that I liked Mack Majors very much too. Don't worry wives out there....they didn't know I liked them! Funniest memory was falling down in freshman year in the center of the hallway with all of my books going in every direction. Happiest memory was talking a police officer out of giving me a ticket for parking in the Karas House parking lot one time when I found no other parking. Whew! Craziest memory...I can't share here...if it weren't for my kids...I might! Shhhh. LOL!
