Liane's Story
Life
Traveling to Italy with Mr. Fenton's Art Class fed my wanderlust and interest in travel. After graduating from Syracuse University with a B.F.A., I visited Macchu Pichu, Peru, and saw some incredible sights. I worked in NYC as an Art Director and Illustrator and instead of having a nice apartment, I saved my money for vacations. I was fortunate to travel all over the world, including the Caribbean, France, England, India, Nepal, Norway, Sweden and the Arctic Circle.

I got married late in life and again did more traveling-New Zealand, the Czech Republic. Our son came along late in life, so now I am the mother of a beautiful 10 year-old boy! I know, most women my age have grown children and even grandchildren. Keeps me young. Now we are introducing travel to our son.
I've taken a little detour in my career: from professional NYC illustrator to designing and making whimsical jewelry that I sell to stores. This way I can work out of the house while we raise our child.
Although there have been a few bumps along the way, I have been blessed with a very good life.
