Charles's Story
After HS (1968) I went onto getting a double degree in tec. theater. Stage Management/Production and Scenic/Lighting Design. Worked for LA Music Center and Laguna Opera for a while, then onto the Royal Ballet of London. After discovery I hate actors. I moved back to WA and became a potter (a family thing) working in Porcelain functional ware. Switched to glass when I married Melinda in89. After doing my own shows in gallery and museums. Seattle Art Museum and the Bellevue Art Museum. Visual artist, alive or died are a lot different. Traveled the world, packing art and setting up shows for Museum around the world. Retired a few years back and have been doing glass fulltime since. friedmanglassworks.com Have a look. Melinda (Mindy) has been doing commercial photos and product designs for years.
