Meredith's Story
Life
I've been married twice, and have three children, a son and daughter in their 30's and 40's, and a son, 18, and five granddaughters. My first husband is a musician and we lived for many years in Monterey. My new family and I currently live in San Diego, and my 2nd husband works at Kaiser. I recently retired as an executive secretary from Kaiser after 25 years total. Seems like I'm just as busy at home and wonder when I found time to work for money! I was able to attend only one reunion but can't remember which year it was now, and attended the picnic in 2008 at Admiral Baker Field. enior year, I didn't graduate with my class and have only kept in touch with two friends from school, Ellen Gooley and Linda Savage. I did find Rita Fitzgerald, after joining Classmates which was great and we are keeping in touch now.
School
I attended schools in San Diego from 1956 to 1962, Alcott Elem., Cadman Elem., Marston Jr High, and Clairemont High School. We were a Navy family and moved in my senior year and I graduated from Lompoc High School.
College
I've attended community colleges whenever possible but have never been able to finish my degree in history. Will continue to plug along with the hope of graduating before my 14 year old!
