Lori's Story
In looking back, I haven't had an exciting life, but it's been fun. Quite a few interesting and diverse jobs, met many many amazing people, travelled... Very few regrets.
My husband, Doug, and I have four kids ranging in age from 34 to almost 21 and are scattered around the country - CA, VA, MO and the youngest is here in MN. We have 5 grandchildren, ages 7 to newborn, who we try to see whenever possible. ndma (my God, that's ME) often just escape to for a weekend.
Due to some health probs recently I no longer work outside of the home but keep busy occasionally writing book reviews on books sent to me by publishers.
Our home menagerie, right now, consists of a female Great Dane who considers herself a lap dog (!) a male Schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle) and thanks to my youngest daughter, who is still living with us and used to work in a pet store, a snake and a hedgehog.
Yup. One big happy family - most of the time.
