Gail's Story
Life
I moved to Charlotte, NC in 1971 and I love it here! I have been married to George since 1974 and we have one son, Stephen, who is a master mechanic. George and I own two businesses. One is rental property and real estate and the other is a small construction business. I am very involved with my church, and with my neighborhood association.

Workplace
I worked for DuPont for 22 years. I spent 20 years in the Textile Testing Laboratory, reaching the position of Laboratory Coordinator and spent the last 2 years as an Information Technologist in the main office. I left the company in 1994 to spend more time with my son and to help my husband manage our rental properties and his construction business.
