Gail's Story
Well, my life is nothing like the adventure story of Tom Powell (hey Tom, how ya doing?)and Pat Benson (hi Pat!) but it's been a pretty swell life! I am here on the lovely Olympic Peninsula of Washington; been here for 19 years, so we must love it. Actually, we do treasure our corner of the peninsula - and enjoy having Seattle close enough to visit (and then leave behind!) I love my job as an elementary school secretary (except for 6th graders in the spring). My husband is a retired paramedic, which means he is home all the time - rats! (oops, did I say that out loud?) My son will graduate from Western Washington University ...Expand for more
this June; don't know whether to laugh or cry. I'd be much more likely to laugh if I thought he had a great prospect for a job with his very useful degree in English. (but I digress, with sarcasim)
I stay sane by quilting and gardening and singing. I love creating quilts and giving them to practially everyone I know! Hopefully they appreciate them :)
Aside from our reunion, which I am really looking foward to, we are going to Costa Rica this summer, as well as a quick trip to Vancouver Island - which we love and visit often - and a trip to Coeur d'Alene to see my family. Man, I love summer!
Hope to see lots of you in August.
