Gail's Story
Life
Right after high school, I married Tommy Morgan from Midland. We moved to Odessa, where he and I both worked and went to college. He graduated, I never did. We moved to Casper,WY and lived there for a year. In 1979 we moved back to Texas, settling first in Carrollton, then Southlake. About this time we started our family. We have two boys, Lance born in 1980 and Matt born in 1981. Our daughter, Mallie, was born in 1985 and our family was complete! We lived in Southlake until 1995, when we were transferred to Corpus Christi. We were asked to relocate to Cleveland, OH five years later. We lived SE of Cleveland in Aurora. We loved our time in Aurora and made some really great friends there. We retired and moved to Austin in 2005. We love, love love living the Austin life. We are involved in Austin Newcomer's Club and OLLI at UT. We take advantage of all the wonderful programs UT and Austin has to offer. e are on a quest to visit all the presidential libraries and we are only 2 away from seeing all of them. Another goal is to visit all the continents and cross the both the Arctic and Antarctic Circles. We only have Africa, Antarctica, and the Antarctic Circle left, but we are working on getting to those. When we are not traveling, you will often find us in the evening on the patio having a drink, playing canasta and watching the sunset or playing with our grandkids. I still read as much as I can and have recently taken up photography. We have a very busy life style, but really enjoy spending time with our friends in Austin and the Southlake area. Our oldest son Lance and his wife, Trisha live in Kyle with our granddaughters, Francesca and Ellie. Our middle son, Matt lives here in Austin with his wife, Tabby. Matt and Tabby are the parents of Nolan and Emma. Mallie lives in Austin also and she and are RJ are parents to Rylan and Archie. I am now known as GiGi and Tommy is G-Daddy.
