Life
I still can't believe it's been almost 55 years since we graduated from dear 'ol MHS!
Well, after graduating from SUNY Geneseo, I worked briefly in the city, then went on to teach in Farmingdale for 3 years. I got married, and moved to KC,Mo.; then on to Houston,Tx. Eventually, I ended up back on the Isle. I re-married and ended up living in Massapequa Pk. for several years. Had 3 kids (they are now adults), and oddly enought, I am living in the same house I grew up in. I work for Nassau BOCES in the Adult Literacy program.I'm an educator at the Nassau County jail.I work with the adult,female inmates.I'm also an ESL /Spanish educator for Nassau Community College.I work in private industry setting up vocational ESL and workplace Spanish programs for companies and municipalities. ents who have been taken out of school and placed in alternative learning facilities.
Outside of the professional world, I sing with the LI Concert Chorale. I've toured Europe and many parts of the U.S. with them.I'm also a member of the LI Cabaret Theatre (singer/dancer/sometimes choreographer).I've been involved with these and other local music groups for the past 19 years. I'm an avid golfer,tennis player, biker, and equestrian.
I'd love to hear from anyone in our class. I'd like to put together a doo-wop group that will perform for our alumni at our upcoming class reunion.

OK, so now it's going to be 55 yrs. since we graduated, and our next reunion is already being solidified!!! Gee, that Barbara sure is something.....THANX BARBARA!!!!
