Gail's Story
Recently separated from an abusive, disabled husband. I work with developmentally disabled people, mostly with autism. Discovered that I have a form of autism called Asperger's Syndrome. Have 5 wonderful grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandbaby. Love learning, discovering things, rockhounding, spelunking, traveling, playing games with my friends and family. Will be going hot-air ballooning this summer. 4 years ago was diagnosed with a cancer, had surgery and figure it gone but still get tested twice a year for 1 more...Expand for more
year. It hit me I won't live forever, and the time to enjoy life is now,so now I'm doing the things I kept putting off because it wasn't the right time. I have the best, most fun friends at work. It's great to get along with coworkers so well. Recently have started writing silly lyrics for tunes that haven't had words for them, and now my friends are singing these silly songs, too. My great goal right now is to get Ellen Degeneres to either visit our town or get invited onto her show (with my silly songs). Would love to hear from all of you.
