Gail's Story
Life
I had retired from teaching while living in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho but when my husband's job transferred him to Washington, D.C., I came out of retirement and taught kindergarten again. We were in the DC area for about 2 more years and then we returned to San Antonio when my husband retired. On January, 2013, we moved to the Northwest so we could be closer to our sons and their families. They wanted this since we're getting older in their estimation so we took the plunge...I'm still adjusting.
My husband and I have 2 grown children. One son lives in Seattle, WA and is a financial consultant and the other son and his wife lives in Idaho and they have two children. He is a financial loan officer.

ade into the sunset. I've done a little choral work while in San Antonio but now I just go to the theater and hears the pros perform. My husband has retired from his job with the Dept. of Defense and is now teaching math at a community college in Tacoma. I do not work but am a Child Advocate for the Tacoma Child Appointed Special Advocates. I advocate in court for children who have been placed in foster care by Child Protective Servics due to abuse at home. This is almost like a full-time job but well worth the hours spent trying to make a child's life better.
My mother still lives in St. Louis - she's now living in a retirement community in Chesterfield. I make two trips a year up there but my brothers are living a lot closer so she has family available to her at all times.
