I worked in Mental Health at the Altoona Hospital 1973-1981, served as guidance counselor at the Altoona Hospital School of Nursing 1981-89, and have been with the Tyrone Area School District as elementary counselor 1989-2003, gr. 9-10 counselor 2003-2006, and since January I have held the role of high school career guidance counselor.
My husband Mark is finishing his 35th year as Tyrone's biology teacher and is retiring June, 2007. He also is an outdoor writer and photographer. We live on 35 wooded acres with a stream near Port Matilda, PA (15 miles from State College).
