Gail's Story
Well I haven't lived an exciting life. After graduation, I went to work as a CNA in a convalescent hospital. I worked as a CNA in various places for 15 years. then I worked as a hotel maid and then as a clerk in a hotel.
In December of 1970 I got married and moved down to LA and lived there for 4 months. We then moved back up here. In 1974 I moved over to Crescent City and lived there for a year. I am one of those people that could become a beach bum very easily. I love the beach. While I lived over there I spent a lot of time on the beach, walking and looking for agates and drift wood.
I have sent the past 25 years with the most wonderful man that I love very much. He has been My "life saver". Between the two of us we have 4 children, 3 daughters, and 1 son. Eleven grandchildren, 5 of them are beautiful granddaughters, and the other 6 are handsome grandsons. Their ages range from 20 down to 2. So you can see we have all different kinds of excitement in our life.
We no longer have two legged children at home, but w...Expand for more
e do have four legged ones. We have 4 of them. Two chihuahuas, 1 poodle and 1 daschund.
They can make your life hectic also.
I haven't done much traveling. In 1984 I went over to Hawaii for 4 days. Three years ago my husband and I went on a cruise to Catalina and on down to Baja. Then in April every year I go to Salt Lake to do genealogy. Every now an then we get up into Oregon. We're real big travelers.lol.
My most favorite thing to do is quilting. I enjoy making quilts for my family and friends. I've been quilting for the past four year and finally this year made a quilt for myself. The next favorite I enjoy doing is my genealogy. I enjoy looking people I am related to and the history that goes with them. Then there are family members you can't find anything out about them for 10 years or more. It can be very frustrating at times.
We do enjoy camping and fishing. The grand children enjoy going with us. We try to do as much as we can with them.
Well this is my story in a nut shell and I am sticking to it.
