Gail's Story
After high school, attended UCLA 2 years & lived on campus. 1962 moved to NY & share an apt. with Linda Shoop.
Got bored doing clerical work and attended Columbia University nites & got a B.S. in Government & Public Law.
Had an apt. on West End Avenue with Helen Fernandez Janka & another "Gail".
I remember Sharon Malerstein visiting us there on her way to the Peace Corps.
Got a M.A. in Occupational Therapy from NYU. Got married, had 3 kids and got divorced. (We lived...Expand for more
in West L.A. for 1 yr- 1978 but I was homesick for NY).
I have 7 grandchildren now and just retired this past year. Still trying to get my "sea legs".. I visit CA every yr (except 2009) to visit my sister. Would love to connect with CA friends at that time or when you come to NY.
I am considered a bit "odd" here & I blame it on 1) my immaturity and 2) my California roots. Things like I drink tap water & want a salad with every dinner.
