Gail's Story
Life
While at HPHS, I couldn't wait to be out of school. But after a few years working for minimum wage, I discovered the advantages of "higher education". I finished a one year LPN nursing program in Detroit in '74 and one week later married my one and only husband, Jim. He went to Center Line HS. Remember all the Polish jokes of the 60's era? Well, no less, my married name is Kucharski. This gave Penny Koslowski (who we used to razz all the time about her name) a bit of pleasure! Jim reentered the military shortly aft...Expand for more
er our wedding. We have been stationed in Colorado, Alabama, and Germany, before settling back in Denver (since 1982) where Jim finished out a 24 year career as a "full-timer" in the Colorado National Guard. After our two children were in school full time, I went back to school and get my RN. I have been working in hospitals for 28 years, now. Currently on a surgical unit here in Denver.
We have been a bit backward with the internet thing, but we are learning quickly. Hope to reconnect with a few old friends. Class of '70!
