Gale's Story
Life
I left Charleston in 1982 for the University of South Carolina. I graduated USC in 1986 with a BS in Accounting and a steady boyfriend. I married him in 1988 and later had two children. My son is Langdon, age 15 and my daughter is Hayden, age 12. I earned my CPA but stopped working in 1995, when my son was a year and a half. to be CFO at Giant Cement in Summerville, SC. He is now the CFO of Burroughts and Chapin in Myrtle Beach. We are currently living in Mt. Pleasant; close to the beach and close to downtown, Charleston. Now that my children are older, I enjoy a lot of free time. I volunteer and substitute for middle school and do some part-time accounting work. My passion is exploring the world! I love adventure travel!
