hich is definitely interesting. I have been back to Moscow, Bucharest, Bangkok, Kiev, Zagreb, Split, Istanbul, Athens, ugh, quite a bit of travel this year... Well, wishing you all well, and look forward to connecting down the road sometime. July 2010: It's been awhile so I thought an update was needed. We're still living in Zurich, and have spent time this year with our two boys in Split, Croatia, relaxing and getting our batteries recharged after a winter full of the flu. One thing we have learned is with a little one in pre-school, the sickness multiplies...once you've overcome a cold, another one is ready for you! So, we happily made it through the winter, and have had some good times this year. I have been to South Africa three times in the first quarter of the year, getting the business prepared for the World Cup. Not much else to make note of...I wish you all well, and look forward to seeing you at the 30th reunion...good god how time flies... Feb 2011: We had Christmas break in the United States, having been away for two years, so it was great to be back. We took the boys to Disneyland, and they had a great time. The highlight was a trip to Washington DC to see my father sworn in for another term in the US Congress. He took Lucas on the floor of the House for the ceremony, and later that day, brought Adrian on the floor of the House to help him cast the first vote of the new Congress. Of course, any trip to the national monuments was fantastic (Lincoln and Washington Memorial). Adrian loved the Air and Space Museum (went there twice!). Then we went to the White House for a private tour of the West Wing, and bumped into Secretary Clinton...all very exciting and historic for the family. Now we are back into the routines and in a couple weeks will be taking Adrian for his first ski lessons... the snow here in Switzerland is good, so we are looking forward to a good trip.
