Deborah's Story
I have changed alot since high school. I am very liberal and outspoken which I was nothing like in high school. It seems as you get older you are alot smarter also due to all the obsticles thrown out you in your journey of life.
I think there is way too much greed and I find myself longing for yester years where everyone was more geniune and real. Nowadays there is a top dollar profit to be made for mainly every person that has the intention to helping someone else.
No one does anything for free!
I am in the fight of my life for my grandchildren with the state.
I live in a neat, clean, organized home which we extended only to have a contractor whom was coming over to give an estimate reported our house not having room. Our home is only a two bedroom log cabin which we were in the process of putting an addition and a garage onto.
The state came into our home at the same time we'd just emptied a public storage after 20 years and auctioning the items on ebay and keeping some in totes packed for the addition/garage.
Well it was a hell of a nightmare with the state since the township building permits were purposly stalled for one year.
I believe they were stalled since I have dogged the township in 1994 to the newspapers on their animal control policies. It all started when the animal control officier lied claiming that I harrassed her when all I did as a concerned resident was ask a dam question as to why they were trapping animals in a heavy snowstorm. The cat was totally trapped in a cage covered with snow!
Not to mention how they waited 2 years for my neighbors cat to multiply to 150 cats where the street was overun with...Expand for more
cats.
I called animal control when there was 10 but the animal control waited since they make a commission on each cat brought into the shelter which meant more cats more money for the control officier,
I fought the township control officier in court because of the fact they were lying about the harrassment.
I had to hire a lawyer and had the local papers follow the story for about 6 months. As usual knowing how corrupt the system of laws are everywhere I did not have funds to continue fighting the township.
Our township is so backwards that they needed back in 1994 to put laws getting after pet owners to spay/neuter their animals before the situation got to a overpopulation problem which it did. I then set up meetings with county and township in trying to help improve the overpopulation of animals in our area by writing up proposals based on nationwide no kill shelters.
The officials knowing I was an outsider(accent a dead giveway) living in this state trying to change rules did not go over well.
About five years later the under the mayor I was dealing with prior to her leaving office put threw my ideas and she got the credit!
Doesn't that tell you how corrupt the government is in this country!
Now I am in a new fight for my rights as a grandparent with the state who also is backwards!

I have come to realize that Jersey Sucks! You have no more rights as a person and the officials get over lying their way all the way to the courts. Thank you everyone for taking the time to read this,Debbie Gamboni(Arroyo)
