Life
I doubt most "Barons" remember me in a possitive way. I didn't exactly excell in academics. In the long run, it really didn't matter.
Right out of school, I went to work in a hospital. I met my husband at age 19; married at age 23; had our son when we were 27. Still happily married, for over 47 yrs.
We lived in a small town back East for 9 years.(Company transfer) I'm so glad my kids spent their elem. & middle school years where classrooms were considered too big when they reached 16-20 children. And the Teachers actually loved to teach. Ahhhh, Shenandoah Valley...where people stop and wave...even if they don't know you.

erred back here when the kids were in High School. I wish we could have stayed in Virginia another 4 years. Then returning would have been great. Both kids survived & finished High School, despite Sweetwater Union High School District dis-counting credits they earned back East. What a great esteem crusher that was! I don't miss the snow. But I do miss the respect, courtesy and all-around helpful attitude, we left behind in that valley.
I wish nothing but happiness for all Barons everywhere! (Especially the ones that started out in Sunnyside School in the 1950's-60's) It was so cool growing up out there in those days!!
