Melody's Story
After Overfelt, it was San Jose State University and then to Hewlett-Packard. But while I got old in that place I also had a great time! I spent twenty years in program and product marketing and another ten years in sales and sales management. I traveled A LOT for work and visited countries in Europe, plus South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico. h Stratus Global Partners. After that I did the obligatory stint at a start-up as the VP of Sales & Marketing. I didn't stay there long as they lacked HP's integrity. I'd go to work again, but Corporate America is not in love with you after you hit 55! I never married (had a couple close calls), but my Mom says I'm not a bad roommate. She's 90 this year and is still telling me what to do. She says when I finally get it right, she will quit. Go figure. I count myself blessed to have her!
