June's Story
I was one of the shortest kids in school. (Still am!) I had long brown hair. (Still do-with a touch of grey.) I was a goofball. (Still am!)People called me Shorty. (Still do) I hope people smile when they remember me, but I'm sure there are those who don't. I was kind of a brat. (Still am!) Gee,I haven't changed all that much except for the pounds, wrinkles and grey hair I've gained! The force of gravity hasn't been all that kind either!
I wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up. That didn't happen. The only animals I took care of were my little rugrats! I started a family right out of high school.
Relax? What's that?
My hero...Expand for more
is my autistic grandson, Scott. He has Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD..
I am divorced and I live in Idaho near my family. I have 4 kids, all grown and 20 grandkids all near by. 4 are step-grandkids but they are my grandkids all the same. I have 2 great-grandkids and 2 on the way.
I guess you could say my obsessions are family, family history, scrap- booking/junk journaling, card-making, and reading.and getting some exercise.
Style, what's that? Jeans and T-shirts, that's my style.
The wierdest job I ever had was gopher exterminator.
My oldest and still dearest friend is Julie Willis- Rackley. We've been friends since kindergarten.
