Garry's Story
Life
Currently I live in Atlanta (Marietta). I enjoy traveling, playing chess and teaching law. I've been married for 22 years to a beautiful women, who is smart, intelligent and loving. I'm semi retired (they hate to let you go) as Director of Risk Manager for IHG. I conduct public speaking tours, mainly in the public shool systems throughout Atlanta. I have two sons Shannon and Brandon. Shannon, my oldest is a junior at the Univ. of Fl. and Brandon is currently a junior in high school. We have real estate in Sarsota, Atlanta: Midtown and Buckhead, in addition to our primary residence. Love FSU football and FAMU basketball. Spend my free time taking care of my koi in our fish pond. We own a graphic design business as well in Atlanta (past 15 years). Life is good.

ost was (1) Mrs. Carol Poteat: She encourage me to do things and in alot of ways helped bring me out of my shyness. I ran into her at a function in Sarsota, Fl some years back. She was instrumental in getting me a scholarship for a program called the encampment for citizneship...I will be forever grateful to her. Second, and definitely no less important would be Mrs. Young (English). She was hard on me and barely passed me in her class(66 grade). But she was great and I couldn't ask for a better classroom teacher thatn her. I understand she has passed away some years ago. Trust me...the schools could definitely use her and people like her now. She is the reason why I do work in the public schools now, thank you Mrs. Young and God keep you.
