Patricia's Story
Since the time in the early 1970's that I grudgingly attented (most) classes at South High School, where my favorite subject and the ONE book that I read and truly studied (our high school annual)I must say that my greatest accomplishment has been my three sons. Joshua David Locke, Derek "Duck" John Bomback and Daniel James Bomback. Get the J.D. and D.J. and D.J.? Ohhh so clever. ;) After that, I guess my greatest accomplishment would be my divorces. Just kidding. Not funny. Yet so true. And after that my greatest accomplishment was caring for my mother till she died a few months ago. Yes, I hated school, or I should say high school, I went to Mesa junior college in San Diego and majored in, if you can believe it, Flight Attendant. Then, suddenly, my oldest son J.D. came along, and I decided to stay home with him instead of flying. J.D. has returned that favor by blessing me with two grandaughters, Destiny and Faith (no, they're not strippers). ha I shou...Expand for more
lda been a stand-up comedienne! Well, I crack me up. So, what else am I supposed to say? I have no degrees, no successful husband, nothing to brag about but my boys. Derek attends Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he is majoring in Jazz Composition. I am extremely proud of him. And Boston??? What a great city, I never thought I would love a place like that! Way cool. And my baby Danny, who is just 19 now, is working hard on his business cleaning swimming pools. And oh, do the girls love him. VERY handsome boys I might say. Take after their mother. yea right. And I might mention, that my oldest J.D. wil be 31 years old this year. And I guess I should mention that their fathers are also SHS alumni. Dave Locke and Darryl Bomback. Now, my current husband is 14 years younger than I, from England, and very cute, but we are getting a divorce too. So, I'm ready for number 4. ha kinda not really maybe.
