Life Life since high school has been a real adventure. I got my undergraduate degree at U.C. Davis and wish I could spend the rest of my time as a college student. I thought I wanted to be an orthodontist (even joined the dental club), but as fait would have it I became an orthopedist. I went to medical school in Boston and spent four years with my head buried in books in order to get the orthopaedic surgery residency of my choice. I was fortunate to return to U.C. Davis in Sacramento for my five year residency in orthopaedic surgery. The work was hard and the pay scale not so great but I really loved the training and working with some great people. I met my wife, who happens to be from Davis, and we've been happily married for over eight years. I found a real interest and challange in spinal surgery and we moved to Louisville with twins in the oven to complete my fellowship training in spinal surgery. Our twin boys were born there.
