Gary's Story
I married Georgia on July 3, 1963. We have 3 married daughters and 6 grandchildren. Georgia was able to be a stay-at-home mom. I think that helped us raise normal children that didn't do drugs or alcohol and didn't get pregnant out of wedlock.
I worked in high-tech most of my professional life and did several start-ups. One paid off. We then moved to Redding, in Northern California.
After initial retirement, and the fast pace of Silicon Valley I had a hard time with early retirement....Expand for more
I went back to work at our local newspaper, with responsibility for operations and online sales for their Web site.
I retired for the final time in August, 2009. To keep myself involved in technology to some degree, I started a blog called "Fatherly Advice and RANTS." You can find it using Google or some other search engine. Just Google Fatherly Advice.
