Gary's Story
Jeanie and I just moved to Maui, Hawaii. Amazing views and weather, and wonderful people!
I Graduated 1969 following brother Mike's graduation in 1967 and before sister Sandra and younger brother Chris graduated.
B.S. (Geology) University of Georgia 1973. Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant USAF 1973.
Married July 1973 to Jeanie Brandt of Atlanta Ga (graduate of St Pius High School, & University of Georgia).
3 children: Mary Allyson, Jennifer Star, and Patrick Reilly.
M.S. Planetary Geology, University of Houston, 1979.
24 years USAF Surveillance & Reconnaissance with assignments in: Denver, Overseas, Los Angeles, Houston, Cocoa Beach, Colorado Springs, Norfolk, Colorado Springs (again), Montgomery, and finally Pentagon (Arlington, Va.)
Retired Colonel, 1997.
Vice President Autometric Incorporated. Autometric bought by Boeing in 2002 turning stock options to dollars (Yea!)
Senior Vice President (and one of 4 partners), ProLogic, Incorporated. ProLogi c bought by Ultra Electronics in 2009, turning more stock options into dollars (bigger Yea !!!).
Retired July 2010, living in Arlington, Va with Jeanie and all our children nearby. Mary Allyson completed her B.A. and MA. from Virginia Tech and her MFA from George Mason and is a successfully published fiction author while keeping her day ...Expand for more
job at the Department of Education in Washington D.C.. She is married and gave Jeanie and I a granddaughter (Evie) in July 2012 ! Jennifer Star completed her B.S. in Biology from George Mason, M.S. from University of Florida, Masters of Public Health from Johns Hopkins and completed her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Immunology from Hopkins (nearby Baltimore, Md) in December 2012. She is married and gave Jeanie and I a grandson (Henry Lewis). She completed a PostDoc in Melbourne Australia and is now doing a PostDoc at National Institute of Health in Rockville, Maryland. She and Henry live in Arlington. Henry will turn 3 in October 2012. Patrick graduated from George Mason with a B.A. in Communications in 2010 and works in highly classified CyberSecurity. He is married and lives in Arlington -- twins born January 27th 2013.
Jeanie retired from her successful career in Interior Design and head of the Design Gallery for a national residential Home Builder in 2011 and is enjoying painting water colors. We are both enjoying our children, grandchildren, and our retired life !
My older brother Mike unexpectedly passed away a few years ago, survived by wife and two children living in the Atlanta area. My sister, Sandra, and younger brother, Chris, and their families remain in the Atlanta area.
