Gary's Story
kinda tough to write about yourself. I have been married for 28 years to my best friend, Jan Wilson Beavers (WHHS '77), have 2 beautiful daughters, one is in her second year at Texas A&M taking architecture and a great jazz pianist. She also loves to cook, so she and I travelled to New York and took classes at The Culinary Institute of America this summer. The other is a senior in high school and an accomplished English horse rider. She was one of 72 nationwide selected to train under one of the Olympic team riders this summer. her new chihuahua 'Olive', and travels across the country with Dani to horse competitions. She also teaches handicap kids riding lessons as a volunteer instructor.I am an Architect and own a construction/development co. in Flower Mound. I have done all the cooking in our house for 28 yrs and often cater BBQ events. Our life centers around raising horses and riding.We now have 6 horses at home and they truly control our lives. Speaking of control, I just bought a Cajun restaurant and am remodelling and revamping the menu. Now I truly have no down time!
