Critical Praise for Divorced From The Mob:
ÂGives the moth to the flame appeal of the Mafia a makeover spin. Her paens to brute strength and murder . . . are astonishingly unapologetic.Â
The New York Times Book Review
ÂPage-turning.Â
Entertainment Weekly
ÂA quick and practically perfect beach read, AndreaÂs book tells all with candor.Â
Bust Magazine
ÂGiovinoÂs memoir is raw and very real. GiovinoÂs voice rings true.Â
PublisherÂs Weekly
ÂWill make readerÂs hair stand on end, then fall out altogether. . . Brozek ties her story into a neat terrible bundle.Â
Kirkus Reviews
ÂGiovino's hair-raising biography reads like a fast-paced work of fiction. . . . Without pulling any punches, Giovino provides a more chilling and decidedly less glamorous view of Mob life than the average episode of The Sopranos.Â
