Gary's Story
Life
I accomplished more than I thought I might have, and I have been to more places than some people go on purpose. Regrets NONE challenges are met with fierce determination and defeated with skill and competence. Key to life is never under estimate anyone and don't sell yourself short. If you can dream it you can be it. I spent 26 years in the Army. Traveled all around the world. Visited almost every place I ever wanted to. Spain,Portugal,Italy,Germany, United Kingdom, that was just some of the nicer vacations Ha HA. Don't want to over look The Republic of Viet Nam, Guam, Saudi Arabia. three of the less friendlier vacations. Went back to School obtained my BA in Sociology and now work for the Government, Live on Long Island NY, oops moved Now Casper Wyoming with my Beautiful wife . and Romeo my Dog, I would love to hear from anyone from Cousino. I am now in North Florida close to the oldest City in America just there part time. Last note my book of Poetry is due for release in late 2004, early 2005, Windows Of The Heart. The nex chapter, this is becoming a real work. I guess that's what is important, I am always making changes and improvements in my daily life, work, home, leasure. I have always believed that in order to grow and learn you must first try. I would much rather fail at something new becase I tried than to suceed at nothing because I never tried, we all learn from our mistakes and those of others, I learned and became a combat medic in the Army, avanced my training and skills to become a Surgical Technician Scrub Tech, then I became the supervisor of the operating room section. After I retired from the Army I went back to school and finished my education and now have my Bachelors Degree in Sociology. I now work for Social Security Administration as a Legal Assistant in the National Hearing Center Albuquery New Mexico. I plan on retiring in 8 years when I will move back to Florida where I have my second home . If you ever come to New Mexico and are in the Albuquerque area give a call we might just do lunch.
