Gary's Story
Well where do I start? After H.S. I didnt move to far away, actually I moved to Downey where I lived for about 30 years. In those years I opened a Saw Blade Mfg. co in the City of Industry around 1990. I also opened up a deli with my sister in Downey in 2002 and we sold it in 2006. In 2008 I sold my Saw shop so I could retire and I did retire for about a year. I traveled to Europe and Hawaii and a few different States before getting tired of not working. have 2 children ages 31 and 17 and 3 grandsons who are very handsome like their Grandad. For fun I like to do all sorts of things from water sports to volunteering . I volunteer about 10 to 15 hours a week fundraising and building a float for the Tournament of Roses every Jan. 1st. I stay in touch with friends from H.S. as we try to have dinner once a month, we talk about the old days and laugh. I think of Some of the things we have done and we are lucky to be alive. I try to live everyday as if there might not be a tomorrow, I don't want any regrets. I will try to add more to this every so often. I wish everyone happiness and great health !
