As a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, I was involved in all aspects of assemblies related to satellites. The satellite most rewarding to have applied my Design and Engineering skills too, was the Gravity Probe B Project. ord University and Lockheed. The part I played in this project was to make sure the kind of materials were correct and it could be assembled properly.
My secondary responsibility was to Design and Layout the
facility and buildings the satellite had to be constructed in. The Science and Engineering that went into this project
was the greatest education and joy I ever experience in life.
