Gary's Story
My wife and I have been involved in missionary work for the past 7 plus years with abandon, abused, and neglected children in Tennessee, Florida, and North Carolina. The Lord has been faithful, the journey amazing, the children unforgettable, and our lives forever changed! Hope your journey is going well . . . cool runnings!
To continue this journey, we have our Florida house for sale...check it out: 4935 Bonito Dr, Gulf Harbors (New Port Richey), Florida. A great buy! 2/2/1, floating dock, davits, and dolphin in the backyard. 10 min boat ride from the dock and you're in the Gulf of Mexico and onward to Ancolote Island just 5 mi offshore. The island is a pristine with sugar-white sand, emerald green water, and fantastic fishing/camping. USA Today newspaper named it the #1 barrier island in the U.S. The Bible says that those who assist others in doing 'Kingdom' work are credited as if they were doing the work! So start storing $ in your heavenly bank account and buy our house! There are only 2 private beaches in Florida and our subdivision owns ...Expand for more
one of them. Anyway... hope you are enjoying your journey.
Update: after about 10 years of working with children, we are now resting in the North Georgia Mountains awaiting our next adventure since our work with children has come to an end. Doing some writing, selling some art I've made and fishing in the Gulf of Mexico with my sister.
Hope you are finding some peace/joy this summer of 2017. Jesus said we could have peace even in the midst of the storm.
1/1/2018...Got life insurance? No, I mean the real life insurance... Jesus?! It's not too late if you're reading this . . . But one day it could be . . . don't leave planet Earth without Him😉
11/18/18. Thankful my son is back from Djibouti, Africa. He was part of a Naval Quick Response Team. He's back home, his duty done, and he is healthy! My daughter was in Naval avionics working on jets and became disabled but a few years later is now working for the State of Florida EPA as a scientist! I'm thankful she's going to be okay. Praying for families who lost a child while serving our country.
